Colorways + Care Info

1. Gold
Dishwasher safe*. NOT microwave safe.

Our iconic line. A soft, satin matte black glaze and a glossy white glaze overlap to create a beautiful speckled grey area in between. The speckled area varies between batches with more or less speckles depending on glaze thickness and application. A gold lustre band is hand painted on and put back in the kiln for a third firing.

*You can find our gold line of work in use at Kinsu Chocolates in Nanaimo, BC. The use of an industrial dishwasher on our work over a long period of time with no fading serves as our threshhold for it being okay to dishwash at home with no issues.

2. Speckled White
Dishwasher and microwave safe.

A Classic: glossy white glaze on speckled clay. It feels nostalgic and the neutral tones are sure to match any style of home. The exposed, naturally rough clay is sanded to create a finish that's smooth to the touch.

Meant to mix and match, Sea Glass, Coastal Fog and Pacifica are our first custom in-house glaze recipes. The names were crowd-sourced and chosen from our Instagram. Unintentionally relating to the ocean at the time, these names are so fitting now that we live on Vancouver Island. Collectively, we call them our Island Vibes Colorways.

3. Sea Glass
Dishwasher and microwave safe.

For those of us that can't get enough of blues and greens. Sea Glass is a variegated green glaze that can range from deep blues to bright turquoise, even on the same pot. Is the mug green or is it blue?

4. Coastal Fog
Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Coastal Fog is a variegated gray/white glaze that resembles, you guessed it, fog. It can range from muted whites speckled with lots of deep blue coming through, to a thicker fog with less blues coming through. Sometimes these effects can be seen even on the same pot. Hopefully that description isn't too cloudy.

5. Pacifica
Dishwasher and microwave safe

Pacifica is a variegated blue glaze that can range from deep blue and lots of darker blue spots coming through, to lighter gray-blues and less dark blue spots coming through. Roses are red, violets are blue...
